[WriteLog] K3 DVR delays when using LP-Bridge

 I sent this to the LP-PAN reflector a few days ago, but didn't receive any
responses.

Does anyone on the WriteLog reflector have a solution?

I've had this problem for a long time and wonder if there is a solution.

During the CQ WPX contest last weekend, I experienced long (1-3) second
delays when using WriteLog 12.09F to send messages by the K3 DVR.

I'm using LP-Bridge v1.0.9.

Interestingly, the first time you send a DVR message there is a 1-3s delay.
If you send it again within a minute, the delay is 0.5s; and a third time
it will be immediate.

It will stay that way unless a DVR message isn't sent for 5 minutes or so,
then the delay sequence starts over again. This is really frustrating.

Updating of frequency and band changes seems to be immediate.

If I shut down LP-Bridge and run WriteLog by itself, the DVR messages are
sent immediately. Thus, I conclude that LP-Bridge is source of the delay.

Anyone found a solution for this?
