[WriteLog] WriteLog issues after Windows 10 2004 update

Don,

Try reinstalling any drivers for the RTL device.  This smells like a
failure of the [wideband] audio between the device and SDR software.

Windows Updates are notorious for munging non-Microsoft hardware USB
drivers.
