In your list of Windows programs, look at Writelog and then Sound Board Mixer Control to make sure you have the right audio system connected for input and output.

In Windows Settings on your computer look at System then Sound and then Sound Control Panel. The Sound Control Panel will allow you to set levels.

Hope that helps.

Subject: [WriteLog] MMTTY Audio Levels W Flex 6600M

I had an issue that I thought was fixed, now it is back again.

I was able to get on the RTTY Roundup a bit, then the problem came back.

What I am seeing after looking at this for a while, is that when I run
MMTTY standalone, it controls the Flex just fione. I can TX and RX just
fine that way.

When I fire up Writelog (ver 12.53E) the TX audio is intermittent. I have
determined that it is overdriving the XCVR. But I cannot find how to
control the levels while MMTTY is controlled by Writelog.

I think when it was working for me earlier in the contest, it must have
been on the ragged edge of not working.

Oh, one other thing. When MMTTY is in stand alone, I see a good filter
shape and can decode RTTY. When working with WL, the display is strange
and not at all shaped like the RX filter is set.

Any thoughts out there? I know everyone is probably busy in the RTTY
test. I hope to get on for what is left if I get this figured out.

The Flex is at ver 3.1.12
