[WriteLog] getting mortty working in so2v on writelog

An additional comment.

What I described below is how I prefer to use TinyFSK with WL. An alternative is to set Rttyrite Ports to ‘None’ and select your TInyFSK Com port in MMTTY, then select TinyFSK in MMTTY. This may require installing the EXT64 add-on to MMTTY, I forget, which is one reason I prefer to use Rttyrite’s TinyFSK as described below.

Yes,TinyFSK is grayed out for me sometimes too and a restart has always solved it.

To use the WL TinyFSK feature, you need to configure Rttyrite to use “its own” RTTY encoder, not MMTTY’s or 2Tones. So set MMTTY’s Tx Com Port to ‘None’ and select Rttyrite’s Port to the Com number where your Mortty is.

I've tried reloading/restarting several times. I feel like I'm missing a setting some place. "Share Transmit FSK port" is not grayed out but TinyFSK is grayed out. - j

I've been operating this way since shared Com port for FSK was added to WL.Sometimes Shared Comport is grayed out and exiting/reloading WL fixes it.73,Ed W0YK

I have a K3 with sub receiver that is runningwritelog in so2v mode (where the main and sub each appear as a separateradio via a single COM port).I think I should be able to configure things with Mortty such that theMortty transmits for either selected VFO. Right?I'm just not seeing how to do that. I can't select the Mortty COM port onthe sub vfo, and choosing "Share Transmit FSK port" isn't working either.Anyone figured this out? thanks jeff wk6i-- Jeff Stai ~ WK6I ~ wk6i.jeff at gmail.comRTTY <mailto:wk6i.jeff at gmail.comRTTY> op at W7RNTwisted Oak Winery ~ http://www.twistedoak.com/_______________________________________________WriteLog mailing listWriteLog at contesting.comhttp://lists.contesting.com/mailman/listinfo/writelogWriteLog <http://lists.contesting.com/mailman/listinfo/writelogWriteLog> on the web: http://www.writelog.com/
