[WWYC] IARU HF just week ahead us!!

Hi contesters

Yeah Hrle, now there is only a week left before one of the greatest contest (in my opinion :-)
is going to take place. Nice to know that you and Goran 1 and 2 (4N7RGH and S55OO) are
going to visit WRTC, I really hope you will enjoy this big event, and don't forget to mention
WWYC for all the big guns, hi.
I also hope to hear a lot of WWYC'ers ON AIR in the ordinary IARU contest! I will be
SOAB HP CW-only from OZ7YY's QTH but with my own call. His setup looks like:

RIG: ICOM 781
PA: 1KW from an older Collins
ANTS:
160 - groundplane (this is a killer :-) + dipole
80 - groundplane + dipole
40 - groundplane + dipole
20 - 4 ele. mono @ 30 m
15/10 - 3 ele. duobander @ 15 m
+ some very good EWE's and beverages!
The location is also very good with free shot in most directions.

I hope to make a good result from this nice station. However I have heard talk about that SM3WMV
is maybe going to operate from SK3W with a huge antenna system like 5/5/5/5 on 15 m and so on,
so he will probably be hard to beat.  I also think that N6MJ is going for a nice score in this contest
like in WPX CW, so there will be some WWYC-activity at least :-)

And about the WWYC-contest; Timo OH1NOA is probably right that it is very difficult to start a
new contest because the calendar is already packed, so perhaps we should work on a WWYC
QSO-party?... Anyway CU ON AIR in IARU

Hello WWYCers,
IARU (WRTC) is next weekend. 4N7RGH is already on his way to Slovenia and
I'm joining him tomorrow evening. We're probably gonna be QRV as S5M during
IARU so hope to meet all of you in contest, if not in live :(
We can be proud on our member S55OO who is referee to N6IG & K4UEE.
Hope to see some of you in Slovenia.
