A big welcome to you here in WWYC! I am glad that Tobi made some PR
for our club in F-hafen :-) I hope we can have a QSO in the IARU
contest, Martin...

BTW, tommorow I will meet Fab DJ1YFK who is in Copenhagen on his
way to SMØ, and we will visit the 5P1ER station from about 10:00Z
to 14:00Z - hope to meet some of you ON AIR...

First off all hello to you all!
I just got member in the WWYC afterwards I heard first time from it on ham radio convention 2000 in germany from Tobi, dh3tw.
My age is 17 and I do contesting since two years now. My favourites are CQ WW CW, WPX CW and IARU HF Championship.
I live in Landshut, about 80 km northeast of Munich, bavarians capital. My rig is an Icom IC-737 and antenna is a cushcraft R7 on my
roof. I am just building a semiconductor amplifier which does about 1kW (+) when it's finished. My favourite mode is CW.

I will take part in the IARU Championship next weekend as Single OP at a neighbor's station where the antenna is just 20m higher on
the roof. Antenna is a Fritzel GPA-50 (no beams, no wires....) and my output will be 100w. I will take part in class C, CW only.

So I hope to hear from you all next weekend on many bands
