Hi WWYC'ers

Here is my result for the IARU test. Didn't reach my goal, but still I
had a good time and enjoyed the QSO with all of you. I remeber
DL5RMH, DH1TW, SK3W (SM3WMV), N6MJ, KL9A, SK9HQ (DJ1YFK/SMØWKA?)
NU1AW (LU9AY), S5M (4N7RGH/9A7NHH?), YZ7EM, AD7U. Sri to the ones
I have already forgotten... Nice activity from WWYC this time :-)

I was on 14.330 on hour before the contest as I unfortunately missed
the new time that was send out :-( Did any of you meet ON AIR before
the contest? Actually we should also have a freq where we could meet
after the contest to exchange scores like 3830!! Maybe we should just
use 14.330?

Right now I am planning my activity in the IOTA contest in to weeks. I
will be on SV9 (EU-015) and I am 90% sure that I have found a place to
operate from. I have asked for a special call like J49A, but I don't know
if I will have the license in time - otherwise I will just sign SV9/OZ1AA.

       80: Groundplane + dipole
       40: Groundplane

         + Beverages and EWE's for RX

Thanks a lot to Finn OZ7YY for letting me use his fb station in this contest!
The goal was set at 1,5 million but anyway I am still quite satisfied as it
was just my second IARU contest. I got a little nervous when Finn came into
the shack with a big rifle in his hands, but luckly it wasn't me who had done
something wrong as he was just going to hunt some animals on his field :-)

Fun:
 * Working from a nice station
 * Nice condx. on the high bands.
 * Broke last years score (just 600.000 points, so that was easy)
 * Didn't damage Finn's equipment :-)
 * Working some of the WRTC-guys (40 Q's).
 * Again working many other young contesters like DL5RMH, DH1TW, SK3W (SM3WMV),
   N6MJ, KL9A, SK9HQ (DJ1YFK and SMØWKA), NU1AW (LU9AY), S5M (4N7RGH and 9A7NHH),
   YZ7EM, AD7U....

Not fun:
 * Missed my goal by 200.000 points
 * I'm too used to have PC rig-control, so I think I logged
   some Q's at a wrong band. Don't hope it hurts my UBN%
   too much.
 * Hard to find a free freq. low on the bands, so I always
   ended up on .050 or something.

BTW, in our club World Wide Young Contesters we are still doing well. We are now up
to 77 members, and still more are comming. If you are a young contester you are more
than welcome in the club; visit http://home.swipnet.se/contest/wwyc/ for more info...
Also congratulation to K1TO and N5TJ for their amazing victory in WRTC again this
year (the result just came out a few minutes ago). These guys simply seem to be some
unbeatable contest robots, and surely they are great models for us younger contesters!

Thanks for the Q's and CU in the next contest which is probably going to be the
IOTA contest from SV9 (EU-015) if everything goes as planned.
