Hey All,
Just wanted tolet everyone in the WWYC know that the Florida
QSO Party is This Weekend. As One of the "Big 3" in Stateside
Parties, We should see record activity this weekend. Below is the
Letter ive been sending out advertising the New School category
we added this year.

Dear Collegiate ARC,
This your your invitation to participate in one of the biggest Qso
Party's of all: The Florida QSO Party!!! The Florida Contest Group
is sponsoring this years FQP on April 28 & 29, 2001.
All Florida QSO Party Rules, Results, County Abbreviations, Free
Logging Software and much more is available from the FQP
website at: http://www.qsl.net/fqp/ Most major logging programs
such as CT, Writelog, NA and others already support the FQP.
Why would you want to Participate in the FQP?
For the 1st time - The FQP now has a School/Collegiate Category.
Two Beautiful Plaques are being handed out for Top In and Out of
State School's. Besides the 2 School plaques, Over 15 Other
Plaques are up for Grabs this Year! There is Something for
everyone!
Any ARC member is allowed to participate - Students, Faculty,
Staff, Alumni, Etc. (The Spirit Of the Category is clear - If you are a
Member of the ARC, You are allowed to participate! )
Great on the air event to end the contesting season. See what you
need to improve over the summer before next season ramps up.
Earn the New "Worked ALL Florida" Award in 1 weekend!
Beautiful Certificates for the Non-Plaque School's
And Most importantly - It's a Contest!! ;-) Go out and Have fun!!
Since this is the 1st year of the new category - Anything can
happen. Which school's will emerge as the FQP Champions?
