Dear Hrle,

Congrats with the high(er) score ;-) You did a fantastic job on 80m !!

Indeed UBN reports will bring both scores down and 3000 pts isn't that
much, hi More important is the team total.

It seems that you have had the same problem at the end : although a very
nice number of QSO's, a disappointing score due to .... the multis !

It can be interesting to have a discussion how to tackle this problem. For
me, the most important reason is that a 100W station has the perception to
lose too much time in a pile-up to catch a multi. After some hours, the
effort to quit a calling freq - try to work the multi - and search again for
a new clean freq, is too big.

Franki-ON5ZO, can we have this point on the agenda next Friday during the
meeting with Tom-N1MM ? Logging programs should alert us when we're going
out of the ideal score line.

Some other ideas that can help for the CW part ?

73s Ken.

Comments:

2x TS440S
2L Quad (20-10m), GP (20-10m), dipole 40m, dipole 40/80m

Only partial 2nd radio operating, mostly running with one radio.
Europeans seemed to like me (1407 EU QSOs -> 67%) but I just couldnt fight
out
for a freq on 10-20m for a decent DX run. First day 1378 qsos and 2nd day
only
713 made it being really a nightmare.

80m was a big surprise for me but 80m is EU only with not more then 20 DXes.
Either that or I could sit and cry :-)
40m is not even worth mentioning.. people with S9+40 where not workable.
Upper bands were good but if I could only find a clear run freq...

9A7P shack as it should've been all the time:

My tech support 9A5AEI was doing experiments on local mountain as 9A1CEI:

CW part will be much more fun!
