The idea of a booth at Friedrichshafen sounds great. Certainly you will be promoting WWYC to the largest ham radio fair in EU. I believe that this point was brought up last year or the year before, although at that time we were lower on members. As you say we now have a lot of members and it would be a very good idea.
I am not sure of the cost involved, perhaps as you say we can get some sponsorship. If not then perhaps our members would be happy to each contribute a small amount of money towards it. Together with 400 members we easily would be able to afford the booth.

Some possibilities that I can think of for inclusion could be:-
*QSL display showing WWYC members cards and also DXpeditions that WWYC'rs have been involved in.
*Perhaps a RUFZ or Pile up CW challenge open to all under 30's, with a small prize for the best scoring YM or YL.
*Certainly a guestbook that visiting WWYC'rs can sign.
*Perhaps one of our computer boffins could produce a design for brocures and posters which could be on display and for interested parties to take away.
*Possibly if there is room for a table and some chairs it could be a refuge for WWYC'rs to sit sown have a cup of tea or coffee and talk.
*We should make the display look really good and proffesional, it will be the first time many people will have heard of the club and therefore first impressions at such an important venue will be important.
*Perhaps we could set up a video player and TV and show some DXpedition videos that members have been on or contesting.
*There are so many possibilities for the booth. I will be happy to help with anything I can, although I have some other commitments at FN.

Well there are some very basic ideas, I am sure others will be able to add many more.

73,

Danny. M0GMT.
