[WWYC] WWYC meeting 2007 .. open issues (SQ1WO, SQ6MS, SP5HNK, SQ5BPM, GM0TGE)

hi folks ..

tnx again to all the WWYC lids who have been in munich for the 2007 
meeting. although chris dk9tn and i had 2 very stressful weeks before 
the meeting it was a great pleasure and fun to have you here...

we have some open (financial) issues and although chris now in vacation 
for the next 4 weeks i want to bring them up closely after the meeting ...

we had several registrations for the meeting which were canceled just 6 
days before the meeting or even less:

SQ1WO, SQ6MS, SP5HNK, SQ5BPM

we had also one registration which hasn't been canceled and the lid 
didn't show up:

GM0TGE

we regret the reasons why you had to cancel the meeting, but we were not 
able to cancel reservations or reduce prices for sightseeing etc. at the 
moment it's like that, that all lids who have been in munich paid for you!

finally 40 EUR per person are missing = 200 EUR.

we are happy that YASME foundation gave us money for the meeting so that 
we were finally able to afford everything. but we think it's highly 
unfair, if YASME and the community pay for short-term cancellations and 
people who register and don't show up.

our appeal to the 5 WWYM members is now to spend the missing money (40 
EUR each) for:
- the YU guys who made a minus of 200 EUR with the last years meeting or
- future activities of the WWYC (DXpedition, financial support of the 
next meeting)

so what's your opinion?!
