I hooked my PK232 afsk this weekend to pass out a few Q's.
into the packet pin connector on back.  You just have
to remember that connector works in the PKT mode.
If you try RTTY button the rig expects FSK signal on the RTTY connector.
I expect the freq readout on the 1000 is different?
