Mike, I have a 1000D and it is a nice rig. I wasn't to impressed with the
receiver. My FT-767 hears just as well, I think. But the 1000D has
selectable filters which the 767 does not. I use the sub receiver quite
a bit when the station I wont to work is running split. It makes it very
easy to find exactly where he is listening at. Let me know what the out
come is between the D and MP.
