[Yaesu] Lightening hit DOA FT 1000mp

As luck would have it took a direct hit through the tower  and lost several
pieces of gear.

Had the FT 1000mp check out and results indicate major damage.

Is it worth going back to another 1000mp  or is the new 1000mp Mark V  worth
the investment.

Anyone out there had both and have some advice on the two ???
Also if you bought the Mark V did you populate with all filters??
