[Yaesu] FT-100 with the VL-1000

Hello,

I want to use my FT-100D with my VL-1000 amp.There is an instruction on =
page 19 of the FT-100D Operating Manual that says "When operating the =
FT-100D with the VL-1000 Solid State 1 KW Linear Amplifier, change the =
internal connections of the FT-100D as shown below." There is a sketch =
of the bottom side of the FT-100D showing a cable with two plugs and =
three sockets with an arrow going form one socket to another. I don't =
understand that instruction. Must I remove the bottom cover of the =
FT-100D to see the area referred to in the sketch?
