[Yaesu] FNB-17 Battery case?

Hi All,
Surely there is some one on the reflector that has taken apart the FNB-17
case.

I thought  it was like the FNB-10 case in that the little silver cover
sticker could be removed exposing a plastic "lip" with a slot for prying up.
The case would then come apart.....

What am I doing incorrectly? The FNB-17 has the same little silver
sticker... and the same little plastic "lip"......... But, when I pry, it
doesn't seem to release what holds the case together.

I would appreciate a response from someone who has "been there"... "done
that"   I'll like to install an insert without destroying the case.
