[Yaesu] Problem with INRAD CW Filter on FT-920

I recently installed the INRAD 400 Hz CW filter on my FT-920 (there
previously had been no filter). I enabled the CW filter on the Menu,
but the receive bandwidth is unchanged. Any ideas on what might be
the problem?

Also, the filter can be installed in two different orientations. I've tried
both, with the same results. Does the orientation make any difference?
