[Yaesu] Help for Flashing VFO Display on FT-920

I ran into the same problem with my FT-920. The problem, according to a
Yaesu rep at a show, was a connector issue with the DSP unit inside the
radio. Following his suggestion, I opened the radio, removed the DSP unit,
very carefully cleaned the connectors with De-Ox-it, and re-assembled all
parts. The problem never returned after that.

Before finding that answer I found that removing power for a short time
would also temporarily solve the problem.

Be careful removing the DSP unit -- as I recall the process was a bit tricky
but just required some patience and care.

I hope this helps with the problem for you.

-Bill, WA9MXQ

Hi,

My yaesu do once same!
I take off memory battery and wait over the night,
after that all work OK.
