[Yaesu] FT 9000 - goor or bad?

I have no experence with the rig but according to the QST August 2005
Testing reviews they said "Its the best they have ever tested"!
Thats good enough for me, now if I could only scrape together the 9K for it.
Do you think they'll take pennies?
