[Yaesu] Mark V Field

I am considering purchasing a FT100MP Mark V Field radio and would like some
opinions and information...

1. Does the MKVF come stock with any filters at all?
2. Can you use the memory keyer without the external keypad?

I would also welcome any opinions or general observations anyone might have
about their Mark V Field experiences.  I understand some additional filters
and the roofing filter mod are a must for semi-serious contesting and/or
DXing.
