Thanks to those who responded to my inquiry.  I rec'd--today--from Mouser
the required connectors at a little over a buck each.  For others 
interested the Kycon KMDAX-8P does the 8-pin, and the KMDAX-6P does the
6 pin.  Be prepared to fire up the light and stay sober while soldering to 
those little pins!!
