You might want to try releasing the MOX button.  This sometimes is pressed accidentally because it is the upper left button the radio - and it is intuitively pressed as the on/off button.

I do not know if this rig has a backup battery but if it does it may be 
depleted.  This possibly could cause the indicated blinking..
