[Yaesu] FT950 Linear connection

Hi,

Would like to interconnect my FT950 to a Tokyo Hi HL450B linear amp.

The "tx ground" and "ext ALC" connections that I need are all together in the 10 pin mini din female linear acc jack at the back of the FT950.

For neat inter-connections, planning to get the alc from the linear jack and the tx ground from the tuner jack instead. I wonder if this will work and will not harm the rig.

have anyone tried it?
