Comments:
Just prior to NSL there was a station on 14.040 listening 1 up and knocking off
Q's like mad. It was the Locust, operating some IOTA thing in BC. When I
reminded Rick about the impending NS, 2 mins away, there was a CW expletive.
But he switched gears and gave us the recently rare BC mult. If this CA rain
doesn't end soon, Rick will be able to declare Locust peak an IOTA.
Missing 6 jumpballs in a row signaled the beginning of a dismal outing in which
many Q's were a struggle. As the final insult, 160 failed to produce a single Q,
thus holding the score below 1000 for the first time in recent memory.
Will probably miss next week because of travel to CO.
