1066 . . a famous data in history but a fairly lousy NSL score. But apparently
the highest NCCC score this week, probably a first.
Thanks to all for participating in the Ladder. Under marginal conditions at
best, we managed to slog through the 10 weeks with considerable success,
challenge and enjoyment.
On the post-contest net, Ken and I agreed to take a break next week and to
encourage all to participate in the Canada Day contest, which would be in
progress during the scheduled NS time anyway.
I will savor the few weeks' break from ladder competition. Last week I accepted
the presidency of our local Observatory/Planetarium board, Friends of the Taylor
Observatory, so will have a chance to get that position launched before the
ladder resumes.
