Too much of a workout at the gym today. Mostly remedial work getting my knees
in shape. Fell asleep on the couch watching TV.
Made it through to Liberia on 160 this evening for a new one. Quite a challenge
with the QRN. Good ops at their end stick with you until the exchange is
correct.
Got on for the last 18 minutes. Quite a buzz being fresh meat with strong
signals and a good antenna. Whew. I enjoy it when multiple guys call in at
once. I am still working towards a 200 hour. Had 100 in a half earlier this
summer. This rate was 197, but only part-time. Easy to sustain. I need a
DXpedition or CW contest from the DX side. Increased speed to 44 WPM. That
helps.
