Hello Dick,
Would you expect damage in an amplifier, when the operator changes the
transceiver and antenna to a new band, but neglects to
alter the band change switch in the amplifier?

One of my guest operators did this in a contest. He altered the
TUNE and LOAD to correspond to the positions on a card for the new
band, but left the band chnge switch on the old band.
(He did not get invited back).
