I was told (for what it's worth) that the TL922 couldn't meet the safety requirements of the European Low Voltage Directive, and it wasn't worth manufacturing such an old design for the more limited market available once Europe was scrubbed. Considering the number of amp manufacturers in the US, and the range of products available there, this is surprising. It's interesting that Kenwood don't appear to have an amp in their product range. 73 Peter G3RZP -- FAQ on WWW: http://www.contesting.com/ampfaq.html Submissions: amps@contesting.com Administrative requests: amps-REQUEST@contesting.com Problems: owner-amps@contesting.com Search: http://www.contesting.com/km9p/search.htm |
