Yea three phase is great until your power supplier decides to send you only two or one of the phases then things get... 1. Interesting 2. Expensive 3. both of the above happen real fast. 4. Big transmitter components that are stressed this way can come back to work on your expense budget for a long time. Anyone using three phase should have a missing phase or phases protection system.
