Peter did make some nice transformers. He was not the first to make tape wound 
steel cores of course. I have them in an ancient Raytheon chassis that ran them 
at 10 KHz for ultrasonics. Westinghouse made the strip material years ago too. 
NWL, American Magnetics, SNC (used to), Basler Electric all still make good EI 
laminated HV iron. As others have suggested names, I throw these in the pot as 
more suggestions. Hams are not in dire straits since Harbach pulled out, only 
those particular designs that Peter mastered will not be made (unless someone 
else picks up the designs and the tooling). They will cost more as they have 
more iron.
