Just how does one get "the ARRL"'s attention?
I know a few things for sure: I was told by a respectable ham who works for
the ARRL that the BOD (Board of Directors and some others there that
matter) are generally not computer literate. As a result --as unbelievable
as it may seem-- they don't read the posts on their own forum! And neither
do they use e-mail or look at the major forums (QRZ and eHam) or the email
reflectors that matter.
Instead, they rely on the section managers and division directors scattered
all over the USA. We must contact THOSE individuals (and *en masse*) to be
heard by the ARRL BOD. I think that's very antiquated, from the days of
spark transmitters.
When I learned that, I lost a great deal of respect for them.
Somebody please correct me if that has changed.
