Guys, you can disagree all you want and go to your graves frustrated,
but the world isn't going to do a 180 and have a BC / AD on this to
satisfy your personal sense of how things ought to be.

A century of handbooks, text books, standards, journals etc. are based
on the convention.  I went thorough this same thing but current as
positive charge transfer makes sense.   Tilt at windmills but if the
electrical world changed, it would put lives at risk because of all
the confusion.
