Use an oscilloscope and a spectrum analyzer to see what signal the amplifier 
radiates.  Use a signal attenuator  so the signal is not too high of level. 

There may be some spurs or something else that causes the problem.  You could 
also use a antenna tuner.  Most of those attenuate higher signals but not lower 
ones.  See what happens.  Try a LC circuit to attenuate lower signals.
