Hi Bill,

I'd make a scale model using a triangular and cilindical profilate on a 
convenient frequency (i.e. VHF) to verify if the approximation in 
object is reasonable.
 
Note anyway that in case of consistent top loading the cylindrical 
equivalent to triangular of the vertical section is a secondary 
parameter.
