Ok...I have used both and I can tell you that the TH7 will get though better
than the TA-33....BUT....the TA-33 will get through eventually. I have a
TA-33 up right now and the TH6 is going up as soon as the weather breaks, I
get my rotor rebuilt, and get some schedule 80 masting. (I'm gonna get
comments about the mast, I know)
I read the thread here about front to back and forward gain, but no one has
really brought up the issue of angle of radiation. For DXing...well I would
put my money on the TH7 or TH6..rather than the TA-33. Eventually, you will
get there, but you won't be one of the fast dogs.
So, what about angle of radiation between at 14 foot boom and a 24 foot boom?
Put that in your modeling program and share it with us all.
