Well, maybe, but maybe not.
If you log me as "K0SB" instead of "K0HB" then LoTW won't show me a match,
but I'll still get credit for the Q and your UBN report will show a busted
call.
If I remove the Q from my log, then I have a vacant serial number. What's
with that?
I uploaded my SS log to LoTW last night, and I notice I have 50 hits. That
only tells me I got 50 callsigns right (and the same 50 guys got my
callsign right), and I could have busted their serial number, precedence,
check, or section. Now what about those other 900 logs I might not be in?
Oh, the worries!!!!!!
Be careful that you don't get a heart condition from mountain climbing in
the molehills. <grin>
