If a contester has bragged to you about running illegally high power, or if
you have witnessed a contester running illegally high power, or if you have
visited a shack and seen an amp capable of running illegally high power, you
should name names, detail the circumstances and post it right here. What is
the point of raising the issue if you know the names but are unwilling to
name the names. If someone is bragging or showing and telling, they can not
have any expectation of privacy.
Personally, no one has ever bragged to me about running illegal power, I've
never seen anyone running illegally high power and I've never seen one of
those big amps capable of running illegally high power (except for the
Alphas or Acoms that can get up to 2k or so, but I don't think that is what
this discussion is about.)
