We should all be asking N1ND how and why this happened.
The NAQP CW has always been the 2nd weekend of Janaury.
The RTTY Roundup has always been the 1st weekend of January....Except
for this year, when it was inexplicably moved to the 2nd weekend. Is
there an unwritten rule that an ARRL-sponsored contest can't be on the
same weekend as New Years Day ? Part of the ARRL strategy to molify
non-contesters so there won't be any of that &%*$ contest QRM on their
rag chews ?
