At 20 kHz spacing - which isn't useful as a determiner of "contest
grade" receiver performance or anything else real-world. There has
been endless discussion of this over the past few years. For a primer,
have a look at Tom Rauch's discussion at

and http://www.w8ji.com/receiver_tests.htm - JI contends that 10 kHz is
kind of useless, much less 20 kHz.
The discussion of the ARRL moving to additionally do 5 kHz spacing
tests starting with 2001 product reviews is in the July 2001 QST, page
80. Specifically discussed is how 20 kHz spacing tests do not
characterize real-world crowded conditions very well.
