That is a great link and story about Krenkel!

the book has been one of my favourites and really inspiring in the ham
career. I especially vividly always remember the description of the QSO
between North and South Pole that RAEM and US antarctic base had on 40m.
This part of the book is so thrilling and the way the QSO happened so
emotional it almost brings tears in the eyes!
