Well, I appreciate the idea....sounds like fun. But, I remember I was very
happy when I could put the crystals away and use the VFO. it wasn't much a VFO
either (VF-1) but it gave me freedom! Yea, I remember those days, but I also
remember that there were three novices in a 60 mile radius of me on 40 that had
the same exact crystal. Talk about QRM.
I appreciate the idea but ....Naw!
Have you guys noticed how much nastalgia there is in ham radio today. Old
rigs, old times, etc. etc. I enjoy it...and I love the smell of burning
tubes....but I really don't want to go back except to tinker.

In our day and age it seems that Common Sense is in short supply. If you don't
have any Common Sense - get some Common Sense and use it. If you can't find
any Common Sense, ask for help from somebody who has some Common Sense. Is
Common Sense devine?
