Hi Jim,

I got my first amateur license in the mail just 6 days before
I went into the Navy. Naturally, they made a Radioman
of me!

There was only one time zone in Navy radio --- ZULU.
Old habits are the best ones. Makes life so simple in
my shack.

Having a clock in my communications computer on anything
other than ZULU time would be an unnatural act.

For more stories about spark-shufflers, point your browser to

http://www.home.earthlink.net/~k0hb/id5.html

and scroll halfway down the page to the headline "Radiomen".
