Stan,

A time limited contest within a contest is a great idea.

In VK as we have contests that are time limited due to the lack of
competitors...some of them allow dupes every one or three hours..and you can
enter in the entire contest or a shortened version.

They seem to be a way to get the punters out. If this sort of thing was
introduced for the majors WW WPX ARRL I would like to see it as a sprint but
allowed for any three hours (for example) and the category is world wide not
limited to EU VK etc even guys with modest setup can have times of high QSO
multiplier rates..obvioulsy needs molding into shape but concept sounds
great. Perhaps an alternative is to create a sprint website for all major
contests where those who want to can enter for an annual sprinters title ??

personally Stan I think this is a winner..
