"KR2Q makes the recommendation that we all switch to USB on 40."

If "we" all switch to USB on 40, it's going to get pretty lonely after "we"
work each other. Please, never forget it's not "we" that make our score,
it's "them"! I know, at least for me, if I'm tuning the band, giving out
contacts, but not seriously participating, and I hear stations operating
USB, on 40, I'm not going to change to USB, because I wasn't aware that "we"
had all switched? Even though the information may be contained in the rules,
many, less than serious, participants couldn't care less, about the rules,
as they have no intention of submitting a log! The more difficult that "we"
make it for "them" to participate, the less likely "they" are to
participate? Some "wise old sage", once said: "if it ain't broke, don't fix
it"!

them = the ever important, less than serious, participant that contributes,
so greatly to "our" scores
