It isn't that there will be rtty ops near the cw freq that bother me. It is the
complete rudeness and total lack of respect
that occurs that bothers me. One mode shouldn't have the right to drop a signal
over the top of another mode. Yes, this may happen, and is completely
understandable, when one isn't heard by the other op... that would mean signal
levels are mathematically evaluated to allow this to happen. HOWEVER, when the
one has a signal of over 50 db above S9 on a calibrated S meter, don't make be
do the math for you, but it shouldn't be expected to see that nice big
respectable signal being plyed by a unrepectable operator.
With both contests on the same weekend, it will make matters worse, worse
that the margin for listening is less, ok... that the margin for respectable
operation is less.. ok... but the outright is not ok.
If a complete record - visible and audible record of your operation during
this weekend, were to be made public, would you be proud of it?
