You want to win it sitting in your arm chair at home?
yes !!!!!!!

and I work hard to have my home station efficient while staying reasonable.
You are wondering why DX will not be present anymore in a DX contest?
As it is already the case my proposition cannot be the reason of decreasing DX, then why giving advantage to a handful a guys against all others ?

Creating 70 more multipliers we do not need anymore those few exotic multipliers just having to pay to win

And by far I would prefer to have bigger runs than those 10 or 15 exotic multipliers in my log.

You are wondering why CN, D4, CT3, P4 e.t.c. stops spending $$$$$$$$$ if you
can win it from home?

Good luck!

Why not try IOTA, WAEDC or any other of the 100+ contests with different
rules?

DX contest should stay a DX contest where exotic places matter.

-1 point per contact for everybody whatever the country, the continent or
the zone. (no more indecent continental border advantage as EA8, CN or even
some extreme East Coast)

-The US states, the Canadian provinces and the Japanese call area become
multipliers (then the multiplier potential in NA should be about the same as
in EU)

Globally with that rules the East coast beams should turn 180 degrees more
often and perhaps that should give more motivation to have some more traffic
in NA during the second half of the night.

Other than moving some tectonic plates, what do you suggest would make
CQ WW more interesting for those not bordering the Atlantic Ocean?

Not useful to complain without offering a suggestion.

qrz.com shows that all LIVE in the golden eastern half of NA. So VERY
unlikely that anything will happen to make these contests interesting
for stations contesting outside the Atlantic basin.
