At first, I explain my setup:
PC #1 : AMD K6 233 MHz, 32 Mb RAM, 6 Gb Hdd, 2x Lan 10 Mbit, OS: Win98
PC #2 : Intel Pentium 133 MHz, 32 Mb RAM, 1,5 Gb Hdd, Lan 10 Mbit, OS: Win98
PC #3 : Cyrix 6x86 at 120 MHz, 32 Mb RAM, 500 Mb Hdd, Lan 10 Mbit, OS: Win98
All CW through LPT, no radios connected.
We have no laptop computers here.
PC #1 shares telnet cluster connection through CT ethernet network.
CT 9.92.001 is an only one application running on all PC's. This is ours (UT7L)
new computer setup first time tested in CQ WW CW 2003. The first and really
great problem was very slowed down PC's :
- when I type first letters of the callsign, may be SCP problem
- big delay in CW when I start manipulation after short pause
How can I avoid this ?
Will DOS CT solve this problems?
