I suggested in a second post looking for a small battery powered test
generator.
I would think there is something manufactured to test the input ports that
you could buy or borrow.
Other than that, why not use the MINIMUM connections and short cables (or
folded up in a tight bundle) and plug the tuner section into the display
section while both operate from a common power source with a good common and
differential mode filter, and look at a local station with only a very short
wire hanging off the 75 ohm input as an antenna??
No other connections, just the shortest possible wires, equipment close
together, and the absolute minimum components?
