the radioworks book has good advice and is worth following.  of course they 
are trying to sell their merchandise but it is easy to get past that and 
follow the advice.    I had awful RF in my tx audio until I set everything 
up according to their instructions and my problem completely went away.    
don't use stranded wire conductors however; use flat copper strap.  you can 
get 100' roll of 1 or 2 inch wide strap from AES among other places.  you'll 
use it all up eventually.   flat braid may be okay but only indoors, not 
outside, and it should be at least 1" wide.    Oh yeah, the line isolators 
radioworks sell are okay (for common mode rf elimination--have nothing to do 
with lightning) but what they advise is the same whether you use their stuff 
or not.

 thanks for info.
i also made a bus bar from 1 in. copper pipe  and will use this for  my
grounding my equipment. how long are your leads from from your ham equipment
to the ground bus and is your ground wire insulated or bare. i read an
article from radio works that they used  the tuner as central point and
everything was grounded to tuner then to ground rod, but they used line
isolators and maybe thats why they did that. .thanks.  greg
