: My son has a honda hybrid and it creates so much noise that HF : operations are impossible. I have heard similar about other hybrids. When I monitor HF while mobile in SSB with noise blankers and DSP turned on to entirely eliminate noise generated by my own vehicle, I hear the bloody Prius cars nearly a quarter mile away on a 5' whip.
